New Delhi. Delhi government’s 36 Dr. Ambedkar Schools of Specialized Excellence (ASOSE) have received 92,000 applications for admission to class IX. Out of these 4200 students have been given admission in class IX. The government organized an orientation program on Monday for the admitted children and their parents.

Education Minister Atishi discussed with parents and children in this program organized at ASOSE, Rohini Sector-17. Atishi said that children are the future builders of India, so parents should help them in their studies. In the orientation programme, he said that the parents should discuss their studies with their children every day. Parents need to be aware of their children’s dreams. Along with the school and teachers, parents also play a role in shaping the future of the children. That’s why parents must be partners in their children’s education. Parents should spend more and more time with their children and try to know from them what are their dreams and what they want to do in the coming future.

On this occasion, the parents said that getting admission of their children in these schools is like a dream come true. Atishi said that now there is a need to change this concept that children who do not get good numbers start studying humanities.
