On Monday evening, Delhi Police team reached the CM residence with Bibhav Kumar to investigate the case of alleged assault on AAP MP Swati Maliwal. During this time, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police of Northern District Anjitha Chepayana and many senior officers were present.

According to police sources, what happened on the morning of 13 May. To know the entire incident, the police repeated the scene in the presence of Bibhav. Sources say that Bibhav is not cooperating much in the interrogation. He is answering only yes or no. The police is interrogating them and trying to connect each link related to the case.

Officials investigating the case said that the police team is busy collecting each and every evidence to strengthen the case. The police team recorded the statements of many employees and other people present at the CM residence. Statements of 15 to 20 more people are yet to be recorded. These include PCR staff and Civil Lines police station in-charge.

A senior police officer investigating the case said that during his detention, Bibhav did not cooperate with the police interrogation even on the second day. He is continuously denying that he assaulted Swati Maliwal. However, he has no answer as to why he ran away after the case was registered and why he formatted his mobile.

Sources say that the police has prepared a list of employees, security personnel and officers deployed at the CM residence on the day of the incident. Now the police will interrogate them one by one about the incident. Police have also recorded statements of some people on Monday.
