The Karkardooma Court framed charges against former AAP leader Tahir Hussain and 10 other accused under IPC sections 147, 148, 153A, 302 and 120B in the murder of IB officer Ankit Sharma during the Delhi riots. The Karkardooma Court held that Tahir Hussain played the role of instigator to kill Hindus and had encouraged the mob not to spare Hindus.
The court said Tahir was inciting the crowd
In the murder of Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer Ankit Sharma during the Delhi riots, the Karkardooma Court said that essential items related to the riots were being stored in Tahir Hussain’s house. Petrol bombs were also arranged there.
Petrol was being filled in cold drinks bottles and taken inside his house in his presence. Tahir was continuously monitoring and instigating this crowd. All this work was done to target Hindus. Every member of the mob assembled there was involved in achieving the objective of targeting Hindus. Such conduct of the members of this mob shows that they were acting with their mind and with a clear objective to kill and harm Hindus.
Charges framed in several sections
All of them have been charged under IPC sections 147, 148, 153A, 302, 365, 120B, 149, 188 and 153A.
