There is fog in Delhi-NCR even today. Pollution in the air is increasing. The situation is likely to get worse. The capital has become a gas chamber. Due to change in wind speed and direction, air quality has reached the threshold of very serious category. People are forced to breathe polluted air. Delhi’s air quality index (AQI) reached close to 441 on Sunday. This is the highest AQI of this season, which is in the severe category. At the same time, compared to Saturday, an increase of 24 points was recorded in the air index. Due to this, light fog was recorded at Palam airport. The minimum visibility was recorded at 500 meters between 8.30 am and 9 am. After this it increased to 600 meters at 9:30 in the afternoon. At the same time, the lowest visibility recorded at Safdarjung Airport from 7 am to 9 am was 300 meters, which later improved to 400 meters at 9:30 am.
