The attendance, papers and accounts of 16,000 guest teachers teaching in government schools turned out to be correct. This truth has been brought to the fore only by the inquiry committee set up by the LG. The party’s chief spokesperson Saurabh Bhardwaj gave this information after holding a press conference at the Aam Aadmi Party headquarters on Monday.

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the LG office should issue a press release and tell this to the people of Delhi. He said that the LG had accused guest teachers of government schools of taking salary without teaching, calling them ghost teachers. Saurabh Bhardwaj has advised that the LG should take positive steps in the interest of the people and avoid giving false and sensational news. Officers are not able to take decisions in public interest due to fear of investigation. The only purpose of setting up an inquiry in every work of LG is to stop the good works of the Delhi government. This is sheer injustice.

The inquiry committee told the appointment of guest teachers to be transparent: Atishi

New Delhi. AAP MLA Atishi claimed that the inquiry committee constituted by the Lieutenant Governor has stamped the honesty of the Delhi government. The committee has described the appointment of guest teachers as completely transparent. The investigation report of guest teachers has proved the sincerity of the work of CM Arvind Kejriwal and former Education Minister Manish Sisodia. Atishi said that it is clear from the inquiry report of the committee that the work of LG is only to stop the work of Kejriwal government.

Irregularities not found in the case of guest teachers

The Delhi government has termed the allegations of rigging in the recruitment of guest teachers as baseless. The government says that there is no disturbance in the case of guest teachers. 16500 guest teachers have been investigated, but no irregularities were found. The government has given time to 109 teachers for not completing their documents. The government has appealed to the lieutenant governor not to obstruct the work of the Delhi government. The Lieutenant Governor had accused the Delhi government of irregularities in the recruitment of guest teachers in Delhi.

On this, Delhi Education Minister Rajkumar Anand said in a press conference on Monday that the allegations of the Lieutenant Governor have been proved completely wrong in the investigation. Anand said that the Lieutenant Governor got an inquiry done in this matter. Now the report of that investigation has come which has proved that the allegation of the Lieutenant Governor is baseless. It has been clarified in the investigation that the guest teachers appointed are not only qualified but their daily attendance is taken online through biometric. In this investigation, the documents of 16,600 guest teachers working in schools were examined.
