Delhi: Teacher dies after falling from sixth floor, daughter accuses father and family members of harassment

In Dwarka Sector 6, a teacher died after falling from the sixth floor on Sunday night. The daughter of the deceased woman has blamed her father and family members for the incident. On the complaint, the police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against the family members. The police arrested the husband of the teacher and is probing the matter. Police is also inquiring about the role of other family members. The deceased woman has been identified as Kalpana. She lived in Dwarka Sector 6 with her husband Pawan Yadav and two daughters.

She was a teacher in a government school. The woman’s daughter said in a complaint to the police that her mother used to have frequent quarrels with her father. Her father used to come drunk and demand divorce from her mother. There used to be a fight between the two regarding this matter. The daughter also accused the family members of taunting her mother for not giving birth to a son.

On the night of April 2, his father came drunk and then started quarreling with his mother. Meanwhile, he heard the sound of something falling. His father told that his mother had fallen down. After this she went down the stairs and found her mother unconscious.
