A 17-year-old girl died under suspicious circumstances after falling from the fourth floor in east Delhi’s Madhu Vihar area in the early hours of Sunday. The relatives of the girl have accused her minor friend of pushing her down from the fourth floor. At the same time, after the initial investigation, the police is telling the case of suicide.
Police has taken the dead body of the teenager and sent it to LBS mortuary for postmortem. Apart from the crime team, the FSL team has collected evidence from the spot. Police is probing the matter with the help of CCTV cameras installed nearby.
The 17-year-old girl lived with her family in street number-28 of Madhu Vihar. Apart from his father, he has an elder brother in his family. Kishori had given these seven 11th class exams. His mother died suddenly on 15 March. The girl was friends with a 17-year-old boy from Jagatpuri, Radhey Shyam Park. On March 16, both of them left for Dehradun without informing their families. The girl’s family informed the police.
The very next day, the police and the family recovered the boy and the girl from Dehradun. Meanwhile, this accident happened at 5.00 am on Sunday. The boy quietly reached the lonely teenager’s house to meet her. Both were present on the terrace. When the father reached the terrace after not finding the daughter on the bed, he caught both of them red-handed. Police say that during this time the girl jumped from the roof.
The relatives reached the hospital with the girl, but by then she had died. The girl’s father caught hold of the minor boy and handed him over to the police. After talking to him, the police have told the case of suicide.
