The father of a minor female wrestler, who changed her statement after alleging sexual harassment against BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, on Sunday said that her family has not received any threats. His daughter has not changed her statement under any pressure. We did what we had to do, he said. There is no truth to the claim that our family has received threats. He also demanded Sakshi Malik to clarify his statement.

A day earlier, Sakshi had claimed that the minor female wrestler had recorded her statement twice under sections 161 and 164 of the Indian Penal Code. But due to the constant threats the family was receiving, he changed his statement.

Tirtha Rana dismissed the allegations

Tirath Rana, District President of BJP, Sonepat, has also released a video denying Sakshi’s allegations of using wrestlers. The wrestlers came and met me (before the protest) and they told us that they were being exploited, he said. We said that we are with our sisters and daughters. I am with the players in their fight for justice. I was with him before and am still with him.

Sakshi showed solution in Congress: Babita

Babita Phogat said that she had repeatedly advised the wrestlers to meet the Prime Minister or the Home Minister and present their problems to them, but the wrestlers saw the solution in Deepender Hooda, Congress and Priyanka Gandhi. Now the time has come that you should tell your real intention because now the public is asking you questions.
