Delhi University Election Results 2024: The final result of Delhi University’s student union elections has come. In this election, NSUI has won the posts of President and Joint Secretary, while ABVP has won the posts of Vice President and Secretary. NSUI’s Raunak Khatri has won the post of President. ABVP’s Bhanu Pratap has won the post of Vice President.

Apart from this, in the Delhi Students Union elections, Mritravrinda of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has won the post of Secretary, while NSUI Lokesh has won the post of Joint Secretary.

Let us tell you that all the candidates taking part in the Delhi University Students’ Union elections have been made to sign an affidavit, according to which they will not use drums for celebrations even after the announcement of results, nor will loudspeakers, firecrackers or pamphlets be used.

After winning, rallies and road shows have also been banned as per this affidavit. Also, strict action will be taken against the candidates who violate these conditions and the victory may even be cancelled.

21 candidates were in the fray
There were 21 candidates in the fray for four posts of the student union. Eight candidates were in the fray for the post of President, five for the post of Vice President and four each for the post of Secretary and Joint Secretary.

The main contest in the elections was between Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) affiliated ABVP, Congress-backed NSUI and the alliance of Left-backed ‘All India Students Association’ (AISA) and ‘Students Federation of India’ (SFI). Let us tell you that the results of Delhi University were to be declared on September 28, a day after the elections, but it was delayed due to the order of Delhi High Court.
