Delhi University UG Admission 2024 Process Underway: The admission process for undergraduate courses in Delhi University is underway. Registrations are going on for admission in DU’s UG courses under the first and second phases. Registrations for both the phases will close on the same date, 7 August. Applications can be made through the portal till 5 pm on this day.
Candidates should know that application can be done only through Common Seat Allocation System i.e. CSAS UG. Final selection of candidates will be done through DU CSAS portal only. The website address is – ugadmission.uod.ac.in,
Who can apply
Before applying for admission in DU University’s UG courses, check these eligibility criteria. Apply only if you fulfil these criteria.
- It is important that the candidate has passed 12th from a recognized board. The rule of marks in 12th can be different according to the university and course, the information of which you will have to find out by visiting the website of that institute.
- Generally, candidates securing 45 to 60 per cent marks in class 12 can apply for DU UG courses.
- You must have studied the subject in which you want to take admission in UG course in class 12th.
- If the course you wish to apply for is not given in the CUET UG options, then appear for the exam in the relevant or similar language/domain specific subject.
- To get admission in a course, not only the CUET UG marks of the candidate will be considered, but the marks in the relevant language or related domain specific subject will also be checked.
- Gap year is not a problem. You are still eligible to apply.
second phase schedule
- Preference filling for both phases will close on August 7.
- These choices will be auto locked on 9th August.
- The rank will be declared on 11th August.
- The window for changing preferences will remain open from 11th to 12th August.
- The first seat allocation list will be released on August 16.
- There is an option to accept the given seat till 18th August.
- Online fees can be deposited till 21st August.
- The list of second round allocation will be released on August 22.
- You can accept it till 25th August.
- Verification will be done by August 29.
- The online fees have to be deposited by 30th August.
