The weather has changed in Delhi NCR since last few days. In the month of May itself, the feeling of cold like December has started. Still there is a rain alert till May 7. The weather in Delhi has once again set a new record for the third time in 54 years in the month of May. Giving information, the Meteorological Department has said that rains will continue till May 7 in Delhi and surrounding areas. After May 8, the weather will change and summer will start.
Record made only three times in 54 years
For information, let us tell you that for the third time in 54 years, Delhi’s morning in May has been the coldest. The minimum temperature has been recorded at 15.8 degrees. Earlier, on May 2, 1969, the temperature was 15.1 and on May 2, 1982, the temperature was 15.2 degrees. In the first three days of the month of May itself, the entire quota for the entire month has been reached. The average rainfall in May is 30.7 mm. But so far 35.7 mm of rain has fallen.
Rain not only in Delhi but also in other states of the country
Let us tell you that on May 1, the average rainfall was 14.8 mm. On the other hand, till 5.30 pm on Wednesday, there was 20.9 mm of rain. Only after this the temperature dropped. The maximum temperature has been recorded 9 degrees below normal. From the plains of North West India to the mountains, the weather is changing every day. Sometimes it is raining and sometimes it is snowing. Warning of rain with strong wind continues in many areas. Hail has also fallen in many places.
IMD alert regarding weather
Another western disturbance is coming tomorrow i.e. Friday. Not to be afraid, as it will not be that effective. But because of this it will rain. Due to which the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 17 degrees. Till Sunday, the temperature will be between 32-33 degrees and the minimum temperature will be up to 21 degrees. After that the temperature will start rising.
