Rain has made the weather pleasant in Delhi-NCR. It did not rain on Tuesday, but the sky remained cloudy throughout the day and cold winds continued to blow. Due to this change of weather, the maximum temperature was recorded 11 degree Celsius less than normal. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain for Wednesday as well. Due to this, there will be a slight drop in the temperature as well. At present, the weather will remain like this till May 7, from May 8 the weather will start opening and the temperature will increase.

In Delhi, the maximum temperature was recorded 11 degrees below normal at 28.3 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was five notches below normal at 19.3 degrees Celsius. Talking about NCR, the lowest maximum temperature was recorded in Noida at 26.3, Gurugram at 26.7, Faridabad at 27.3 degree Celsius.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain for Delhi on Wednesday as well. The sky will be cloudy and there is a possibility of light and moderate rain at some places. Along with this, strong winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. There is a possibility of cloudy sky and light rain on Thursday as well. However, a slight increase in the temperature will start from Thursday and by May 8, the temperature will reach 34 degrees and the minimum temperature will reach 21 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, this change in the weather is happening due to the activation of Western Disturbance. Its effect will remain for two days now.
