Delhi News: The weather of the national capital Delhi continues to fluctuate. On Tuesday the minimum temperature suddenly fell to 7.2 degrees, which was two degrees less than normal. Whereas on Monday the minimum temperature was recorded more than 9 degrees and on Sunday it was recorded 11.9 degrees. Whereas there has been a partial decrease in the maximum temperature. However, there are indications of increase in maximum temperature in the next five days.
According to IMD forecast, the minimum temperature on Wednesday is expected to be 7 degrees. While the maximum temperature is expected to be 21 degree Celsius. The sky will be clear during the day and there is a possibility of strong wind. It has also been said that people need to remain alert, because changes in weather are likely to continue in the next few days.
The temperature was two degrees below average
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature in the national capital on Tuesday was recorded at 7.2 degrees Celsius, which is two degrees below the season’s average. The IMD forecast for the day showed that the maximum temperature was recorded at 21 degrees Celsius, which was two degrees below normal. The effect of fog was visible on Tuesday night.
AQI bad again
The air quality fell to moderate and poor levels at many stations across the city. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), at 9 am in Anand Vihar area, the PM 2.5 level was recorded in the moderate category at 195 and the PM 10 level reached 212 or worse. At Indira Gandhi International Airport, PM 2.5 level was recorded at 165 and PM 10 level was 152, both were in moderate level. An air quality index (AQI) between zero and 50 is considered good, between 51 and 100 satisfactory, between 101 and 200 moderate, between 201 and 300 poor, between 301 and 400 very poor and between 401 and 500. The middle is considered serious.
