Shopkeeper Rahul Kesari tells that Tilkut is prepared here with oil from Kanpur and Gaya. If we talk about flavour, Tilakut will be available here in flavors ranging from sugar free to sugar, jaggery, cashew, makhana, khoya, almond and butter. Its price is also within your budget.
Shopkeeper Rahul Kesari tells that every year he goes to Gaya and brings famous artisans from there. More than 1 quintal of Tilkut is prepared by them here in a day. If we talk about the price, sugar Tilkut is given to the customers at ₹ 300 per kg, while Jaggery Tilkut is given to the customers at ₹ 320 per kg. Talking about different flavours, cashew one is available at Rs 360, makhana at Rs 380, khoya at Rs 420, sugar free at Rs 340 and almond one at Rs 280 per kg.
Customers’ choice for 30 years
Shopkeeper Rahul says that due to Makar Sankranti, the sale of Tilkut increases. Due to which the shopkeeper also gets good profit. Right now Tilkut is being prepared in large quantities. If we talk about customers, the purchase of Tilakut starts from January 11 itself. Shopkeepers are also very happy with the purchase of Tilkut. At the same time, artisans Tarakeshwar and Sunil Prasad, who came from Gaya, say that for the last many years, they come here from Gaya every year. Those people also earn decent profits by coming here. Tilakut of this almost 30 years old shop in Shyam Talkies Gali Phalpatti of Katihar is in demand in Katihar as well as in other districts and other areas.
