After finding a dengue patient in Damoh’s Jabera, the health department team conducted health tests of all the water sources and people in Banshipur, Tawari and Rohni villages. During this, dengue symptoms were found in many people who were immediately admitted for treatment. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Sarojini James Beck said that all measures are being taken to prevent and prevent mosquito-borne diseases, especially dengue and malaria. Dengue and flood affected sensitive areas are being monitored. Dengue patients have been confirmed last day. The work of larvae survey and clarification is also being done by the mobile team after reaching the sensitive areas. Surveys are being conducted continuously in the flood affected areas.

Dengue confirmed in a person who returned from Delhi
District Malaria Officer Yamini Silapuria said that last day in Ghughas village of Batiagarh region, after symptoms of dengue were found in a person who had returned from Delhi, a blood sample was sent to the Sentinel Lab district hospital. On confirmation of dengue in the sample, treatment was provided as per the protocol. . Similarly, dengue has been confirmed in a local person in Botrai village of Patharia development block.

Don’t let water stagnate, spray parethrum
Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Sarojini James Beck says that the work of disinfestation was done by spraying pyrethrum in water containers by the mobile team in each house for larvae survey. During this, the villagers were also advised to drain the water stored in the tank or other utensils every 7 days. Dengue mosquito bites during the day, take special care of it. Seek medical help immediately in case of fever, as dengue is a dangerous disease. Sometimes it also proves fatal.

Two teams were formed for the rescue
District Malaria Officer Yamini Silapuria said that two teams have been formed to prevent mosquito-borne diseases like dengue and malaria. A team is regularly visiting the sensitive areas in the Jabera development block, surveying the larvae in the water collected containers and providing necessary health education. On the other hand, the other team is also carrying out the work of larval survey and disinfection by reaching the urban and sensitive areas of Damoh at regular intervals of one day. Where drainage of water is not possible, disinfection of dengue larvae and pupae is done by spraying Temophos. The work is being done.
