Actually, a close friend of Devoleena has been shot by someone in USA and he has lost his life. The actress has shared this painful accident on social media. Devoleena has made a tweet on X. In this tweet, Devoleena has narrated the entire incident and has also requested for help from the Prime Minister of the country and the Indian Embassy.
The actress appealed to PM Modi for help
Devoleena wrote in her post – On Tuesday evening, my friend Amarnath Ghosh was admitted to ST. Someone has shot and killed someone in Louis Academy Neighbourhood. He was the only child in his family. His mother died 3 years ago. His father passed away when he was young.
No information is available about the reason for the murder and the person who committed the murder. There is no one in his family to fight for him, except a few of his friends. He is a resident of Kolkata. Was a very good dancer and was doing PhD. When he went out for a walk in the evening, some unknown person fired several bullets at him.
Some friends living in the US are trying to get his body but no update has been received. @IndianEmbassyUS please do something. We should know the reason for his murder. Along with this, the actress has also tagged Jai Shankar Prasad and PM Modi.
