On Thursday, a devotee died after getting crushed in the crowd at the Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan, the pilgrimage city of Mathura. This created chaos there. Police reached the spot and took information about the incident. The body has been sent for post-mortem.

Due to the scorching sun and extreme heat, the health of the devotees who come for darshan deteriorates almost every day. The pressure of the crowd started increasing since morning in the desire to have darshan of Aaradhya. As time passed, this rally kept increasing. At around 10:40 in the morning, the health of a devotee suddenly deteriorated in Banke Bihari Temple.

The security guards of the temple came out of the crowd and took him out of Gate No. 1. After this, the police and guards took him to the District Joint Hospital. Here Doctor Tanvi Dua declared him dead after investigation. The devotee could not be identified. Age is around 35 years. Haldiram’s bill, comb and glasses were found with him. Mumbai devotee died on Holi

Let us tell you that this is not the first time that a devotee has died in the crowd. Many incidents have happened before this. Talking about the recent past, 68 year old Sunil, son of Kishori Lal, resident of Sai Koliwada, Mumbai, who had come to visit Banke Bihari on Holi, had died.

Sunil had come to Vrindavan with 40 people to visit on the occasion of Holi. This group of devotees was staying at Basanti Dharamshala located in Loi Bazar. In the morning, Sunil reached Banke Bihari temple for darshan with his friends. After darshan, as soon as he came out of gate number one, he suddenly felt unwell on the platform and fell down. After this he died.
