NEET Paper Leak Case: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday (29 June 2024) targeted the Congress over the controversy over competitive examinations including NEET. The Union Education Minister alleged that the Congress does not want to discuss the NEET issue, they are running away from it.
‘Congress wants to spread chaos and confusion’
The education minister said, “Congress only wants to create chaos and obstruct the functioning of the government machinery. The President himself has spoken on the issue on which the Congress wants to debate. On behalf of the government, I clearly said that we are ready for any kind of discussion, but the Congress does not want to talk on the issue of students. They want to create chaos and confusion so that the matter remains burning.
When will the new dates for NEET PG be announced?
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan alleged, “Such issues have come up even before 2014, but I am not justifying it. Reforms have been started in NTA under the leadership of former ISRO Chairman K Radhakrishnan. We have made a new law to resolve this issue and the entire matter has been handed over to the CBI. New dates for NEET-PG will be announced by Monday-Tuesday.”
