Onion – 4
Tomato – 4
Green chili – 1 to 2
Coriander chopped – 1 tbsp
Cream – 3/4 cup
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
salt – as per taste

To make potato koftas, first boil the potatoes and grate them. After this add grated potatoes, gram flour, salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and coriander powder in a bowl and mix. Now prepare balls by taking potato mixture in hand. Now take a pan and heat oil in it. When the oil is hot, put potato balls in it. Now fry them till they turn light golden. When the balls are fried, take them out separately in a plate.

Start the process of making gravy for Potato Kofta. For this finely chop onions, tomatoes and green chillies. Now take the cream and beat it well. Now put some oil in the pan and keep it for heating on low flame. When the oil is hot, first put cumin seeds in it. Now put onion in it and fry till it becomes golden. After this add green chilies, tomatoes, ginger and let it cook for 4-5 minutes. Now add coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder to this mixture and fry it. After this, turn off the gas and keep the spices to cool down. When the masala cools down, put it in the mixer and grind it.

Now heat the oil again in the pan and put the prepared spices in it. Also add cream to the pan and mix it well. Now cook the gravy till oil separates. Now add two cups of water to the pan. Add salt to it and cook till it starts boiling. Then put the pre-fried koftas in it. Now cook it for about 2 minutes, after that turn off the gas. Garnish with green coriander on top of it. Now the prepared vegetable can be served with roti, paratha or rice.
