Ingredients needed to make Dahi Aloo

Curd – 350 grams
Potato – 4-5
Desi ghee – 2 tsp
Cashew powder – 2 tbsp
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Ginger finely chopped – 1 tsp
Tomato chopped – 1 (if desired)
Green chili chopped – 2
Finely chopped coriander – 1 tbsp
salt – as per taste

Curd Potato Recipe

To make curd potato curry, first of all boil the potatoes with the help of a pressure cooker. Now peel off these potatoes and cut them into small pieces. Now take a mixing bowl, put curd in it and whisk it well. After this add red chili powder, rock salt, cashew powder to this curd and mix it well with the help of a spoon. However, will keep this mixture separate for now.

Now take a pan, put desi ghee in it and keep it on low flame to heat. When the ghee melts completely, add cumin seeds to it. When the cumin seeds crackle, add ginger to it and fry it for about 2 minutes. Now add finely chopped green chillies and chopped tomatoes to it and cook for about 2 minutes. After this, put the pre-cut potatoes in this mixture. Keep in mind that keep stirring the ladle until the potatoes mix well with the mixture.

When the potatoes become half cooked, take out the pan and put the curd mixture in it. After this again put it on the gas in low flame. You can dilute this vegetable by adding water as much as you want. Now cook this vegetable for 2 more minutes and take out the pan. After this, put chopped coriander leaves in the prepared vegetable. This tasty vegetable can be served with roti, puri or rice.
