Ingredients for Palak Dal Khichdi
Spinach – 1 cup
Onion – 1 finely chopped
Rice – half cup
Arhar Dal – 1 cup
Cumin – half teaspoon
Turmeric powder – half teaspoon
salt – as per taste
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp (as per taste)
Desi ghee – 1 tsp
Green chili – 2 finely chopped
water – as desired

How to make Khichdi
To make Palak Dal Khichdi, first of all we will clean the rice and lentils thoroughly. After this, soak it in lukewarm water for 10 minutes. Now put ghee in a pressure cooker and put it on the gas and heat it. When the ghee becomes hot, add chopped onion along with cumin and finely chopped green chillies. Now fry all these together well. After this add turmeric powder and red chili powder to it and fry for 1 minute.

After this, add salt as per taste and then add lentils and rice. Now put a glass of water in it and cook for 2-3 minutes. Here you can also increase the water. Now add spinach after washing it well and chopping it finely. Then close the cooker and cook for 10 minutes. Turn off the gas after 2 whistles in the cooker. Serve it in a plate and serve it with desi ghee, curd, chutney or pickle.
