Reacting to the rape incident in Kolkata, popular TV actress Dipika Kakar wrote on her Instagram story – ‘This is not the only case, not the last either. 90 rapes happen every day in India and believe it or not, if we don’t speak up today, we are just waiting for this to happen to us or someone we know.’ Along with this, Rashmi Desai has also made a broken heart emoji.

On the incident of rape of the trainee doctor, Rashmi said- This incident has made us realise that women are not safe anywhere. More than a decade has passed since the Nirbhaya incident, but even today nothing much has changed.

Alia Bhatt reacted to the rape and brutal murder of a trainee doctor in a Kolkata hospital and wrote – ‘Another rape. Another day with the realization that women are not safe anywhere. Another horrific rape reminds us that it has been more than a decade since the Nirbhaya tragedy, but still nothing much has changed.’

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana has also reacted to this. Actress Richa Chadha has demanded a guarantee of justice from West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

What is the whole matter?

Let us tell you that on 9th August, the body of a female trainee doctor was found in Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. The doctor was raped and then killed. The person who carried out this rape-murder case was a volunteer of Kolkata Police, who was posted in the hospital itself.
