The case is of Sadar police station area. Counselor Dr. Satish said that both of them got married in 2022. The wife has accused the husband of not buying her a saree and beating her. She said that now the husband does not even ask. She does not want to go to her in-laws’ house. The husband says that the wife insists on expensive sarees. She starts insisting on explaining. The counselor said that now an attempt will be made to convince both of them on the next date.
Controversy over leaving the pregnant woman in the hospital
In a case in Etmaduddaula, the wife has complained that after the birth of the child, her in-laws left her alone in the hospital. They took the child with them. Her parents paid for the hospital expenses. She came to her parents’ house and since then her in-laws have not bothered about her. Counselor Dr. Satish told that the in-laws say that they had taken leave earlier because the child was ill.
Later when he went to get his wife discharged, she had already gone to her parental home. After that, his wife refused to come to her in-laws’ house. The next date has been given in this case too. On Saturday, 85 cases reached the counselling centre. In eight cases, a settlement was made and in two cases, an FIR was recommended.
