According to reports, Divya Bharti had become very successful in a very short time. It was the evening of 5 April 1993 when Neeta Lulla came to Divya Bharti’s house as a guest along with her husband. They had some conversation and also had some drinks. According to media reports, Neeta Lulla had told the police in her statement that Divya was very happy and while talking she went to the balcony and sat down. There suddenly her hand slipped and she fell.
The police also studied this case from different angles but the reason for death could not be found and then the case was closed. It is said that the postmortem also stated the reason for death as falling from a height.
