Divya had to face many rejections
Divya Dutta recently made many revelations during a conversation with The Lallantop. He also told that he had to face rejections many times and he gradually started accepting the rejections. Divya said, “Even today, I feel like I deserved something, and why did someone else get it?”
Out of 22 signed films of Divya, only 2 went on the floors.
Divya also revealed that she has spent a lot of time door to door asking for work. Divya said, “I was a sweet girl and a good actress, but only I knew this. One day, it seemed like I had signed 22 films, and some of them even gave me a token. No one was saying no. However, I later came to know that out of 22 films, only 2 went on floors and I was not even the heroine in them.
Was sent home from the set due to being underweight
Divya also told when she felt objectionable. At a time when she was being dropped from many films, the actress decided to visit a set once. However, he was very disappointed on the set, in fact he was sent back saying that he had lost a lot of weight.
Divya said that after this she felt very disappointed and felt objectified. Divya said, ‘I started searching for humanity and realized that it does not exist in this business. I remember telling my mother that if I Shahrukh Khan If I had done that film with him, I would have been a superstar.” Talking about work front, Divya Dutta will be seen in the film Chhaava.
