According to Dr. Jangam, the amount of calcium in brinjal is also very good. In such a situation, it is beneficial for strengthening bones and works well for those suffering from calcium deficiency. Iron is also found in abundance in it, due to which this brinjal is also helpful in increasing blood. Its biggest advantage is that this vegetable also brings mental strength. Not only this, this brinjal is also helpful in reducing the sugar level. Being a seed vegetable, it helps in cleaning the stomach and curing stomach related diseases.

Mahesh Jangam says that its consumption is good even for weak people. Due to the presence of fiber, iron and calcium, it removes weakness. Many people consider it a useless vegetable, but it is not so. According to religion and scriptures, it should definitely not be eaten on the days of Ekadashi and Dwadashi.
