In protest against the rape of a woman doctor in West Bengal, all the doctors including junior doctors of the only Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital of Magadh division took out a candle march at 10 pm on Friday and all the services including emergency were stopped from the night. They said that after stabilizing the critical patients, all the health services including emergency service were stopped.
The trend of going to private hospital continues
It is known that on Thursday morning, there was news of mob attack, beating and threatening of doctors in RG Kar Medical College, and CBI could not get any evidence, so all the residents got angry after getting the information of an attempt to destroy the evidence. At the same time, in Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital, doctors are not admitting patients in any emergency ward due to closure of all health services. Slowly, all the patients are going to private hospitals.
Patients admitted in the emergency ward were evacuated
Seeing the anger of the doctors, the hospital administration evacuated the patients admitted in the emergency ward. For now, the doctors are sitting at the gate of the emergency ward and are not allowing the patients to enter the hospital. The doctors say that the strike of the doctors will continue until the accused involved in the rape of the female doctor are arrested and justice is not delivered. However, poor people come to the said hospital for treatment. In such a situation, due to the closure of hospital services, people are facing a lot of problems. It can be seen in the pictures that a patient is lying outside after being taken out of the ward, there is no one to look after that young man.
