Discovery of Vaseline American chemist Robert Augustus, once while traveling to Pennsylvania, saw that the workers working on the ship were applying wax extracted from the oil pipe on their wounds. Seeing this, Robert could not live and he asked the employees the reason for this. The employees said that by applying it, their wounds heal faster. Just from there the idea of making Vaseline made its place in Robert’s mind.
How did it make its place in India
Vaseline’s entry in India… in 1947. At first it was not that successful here, but gradually it started strengthening its hold in India.
