Donald Trump Attack: Reacting to the deadly attack on former US President Donald Trump, President Joe Biden said that he has spoken to Donald Trump and enquired about his well-being. He also said that the investigation has been handed over to the FBI to find out the motive behind the attack.
He said, “Last night I spoke to Donald Trump. I am thankful that he is fine. We had a very short but good conversation. We are praying for him and his family. We also express our condolences to the family who lost a loved one and those who are injured. We are thankful to the Secret Service who put their lives in danger for the country.”
‘There is no place for violence in America’
The US President said, “I had said last night also that there is no place for such violence in America and we will not let it happen. We all have unity and that will never change. Now the FBI is investigating this matter. This is just the beginning and we do not have any specific information about the reason behind the attackers’ attack.”
Joe Biden made a special appeal to the public
He appealed to the public and said, “I know who he is and I request people not to judge the reason behind the attack right now. The FBI is investigating and whatever the truth is, it will come out. Donald Trump has been given high level security.”
