Actually, when a female beggar was rescued by the Women and Child Development Department, cash worth Rs 74,768 was found from her. The team officials were surprised. A few days ago, Collector Ashish Singh had given instructions to make Indore beggary free. In this series, on Wednesday, Dinesh Mishra of the department and his team conducted a rescue operation in Bada Ganpati and Rajwada area. When the team searched the woman, notes ranging from Rs 1 to Rs 500 were found with her. These include 423 notes of Rs 100 (Rs 42,300), 174 notes of Rs 50 (Rs 8,700), 305 notes of Rs 20 (Rs 6,100), 280 notes of Rs 10 (Rs 2,800), 18 notes of Rs 200 (Rs 3,600). And 22 notes of Rs 500 (Rs 11,000) were included.

During interrogation, the woman told that this amount is her week’s earning and every 10-15 days she collects this amount through begging. After the rescue, the woman was sent to Sevadham Ashram in Ujjain, where she is being interrogated in detail. If we believe what the woman says, she earns around Rs 3 lakh a month?
