Abhinav Chaturvedi had a dream of acting. In 1984, he heard about the casting of a TV show which became ‘Hum Log’. Abhinav was selected to play the role of ‘Nanhe’, one of the characters in the show. At the age of 20, he gave a strong performance in the show and became a star overnight. The show ‘Hum Log’ became a huge hit and became the most watched TV serial in the country. This serial still remains one of the most watched TV shows in Indian history.

Two years later, Abhinav Chaturvedi worked in another big TV show named ‘Buniyaad’. Abhinav, who is called a TV superstar, tried to take this stardom to the big screen as well. He made his Bollywood debut in 1988 with the film ‘Parbat Ke Us Paar’. In the early 90s, Abhinav worked in many films like ‘Bhrashtachar’, ‘Jeevan Ek Sangharsh’ and ‘Yodha’. None of these films could work at the box office. He had hit films like ‘Saudagar’ but the actor was given small roles in these films.

I didn’t have money even for the rent

After several flop films, Abhinav left the film industry in 1992. According to reports, the actor did not have money for rent at that time and even lost his house in Mumbai. After this, he decided to say goodbye to films forever and come back to Delhi. After this, the actor started working in corporate events.
