In Sitamarhi, dowry seekers strangled a two-year-old child along with his mother to death. The incident took place in Andhara village of Parsauni police station area. The incident took place late on Tuesday evening. The deceased have been identified as Rajesh Paswan’s wife Archana Kumari (25) and his two-year-old son Akshit Kumar. After receiving information about the incident, Parsauni police station reached the spot and started investigation. Police have sent the bodies of the deceased and her child to Sitamarhi Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
The relatives of the deceased alleged harassment
The parents of the deceased Archana have accused the woman’s in-laws of murdering the woman and her child. There was chaos in the entire village after the murder of a woman and her child together. Family members say that her in-laws used to torture her a lot for demanding dowry.
Police engaged in investigation
Regarding the incident, Parsauni police station incharge says that at present the family members of the deceased have not given any application in the police station. After receiving the application, an FIR will be registered and then prompt action will also be taken. The police station head said that after the incident, the in-laws of the deceased have fled the house. Police are continuously conducting raids to arrest them.
