In East Champaran, a neighbour stabbed a couple to death. The incident took place in Mithanpura village under Bhimalpur Panchayat of Mehsi police station area. The deceased have been identified as Bathu Sah (68) and his wife Malti Devi (60). The villagers informed the local police about the incident. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and arrested the accused Pawan Sah with the help of the villagers. Although the knife used in the murder has not been recovered yet, the police have continued the search for it.
There was a minor dispute with a neighbor
Regarding the incident, DSP Satendra Kumar said that there was already a domestic dispute going on between Pawan Sah and Bathu Sah. On Tuesday evening, this dispute took a violent turn. During this time, Pawan Sah suddenly attacked Bathu Sah with a knife on the head. Pawan also injured his wife Malti Devi who came forward to save her husband. In this incident, both of them died on the spot.

The villagers immediately informed the police about the incident. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the local police reached the spot. The villagers chased and caught the accused Pawan Sah and handed him over to the police. However, the police say that the knife used in the murder has not been recovered yet. The police is searching for that knife. Regarding the incident, DSP Satendra Kumar said that the reason for the murder is domestic dispute, but the police is also investigating other aspects. The villagers say that there had been disputes between Pawan and Bathu many times before, but this time the dispute escalated so much that Pawan crossed all his limits. Such a brutal murder of Bathu Sah and Malti Devi has shocked the entire village.
