The Indian Army is increasing the number of ballistic missiles in its stock. Regarding which both the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force have ordered Pralay ballistic missiles. The number will be gradually increased with the induction of short and medium range missiles in all three services, which will give them the ability to sustain a war for a longer period of time.

Large scale use of ballistic missiles

In recent times, ballistic missiles have been used extensively in conflicts, where even non-state actors have been seen firing hundreds of ballistic missiles at enemy targets in a single night. The Indian Army has been in conflicts on the northern borders with China, which has a large rocket force and a huge stockpile of such long-range weapons in conventional or non-nuclear roles. Indian forces have held a detailed discussion on the need to create a long-list organization to deal with all security challenges. In fact, at a time when the defense forces are considering creating a rocket force, India is ready to test a new long-range anti-ship ballistic missile.
