In India, any citizen above 18 years of age can apply for a driving license. But from tomorrow, i.e. June 1, the rules for making a driving license have been changed. There has also been a big change in the driving test. Let us now know how to give a driving test to get a driving license. What will be its procedure.

Now you will not have to go to RTO for driving test

Generally, when someone applies for a driving license, he has to first go to the RTO office and give a computerized test. Then after that, he has to give a driving test in the RTO itself. Only then can a driving license be made. But from June 1, some changes have been made in the Motor Vehicle Act of India. Under these changes, now an applicant will not need to go to the RTO office for a driving test to get a driving license. However, this will be optional.

You can give driving test in private institute

According to the new rule, now if anyone applies for a driving license, he will not need to go to the RTO and give a driving test. He can also give this driving test at any private driving institute. However, the private institute or driving school should be recognized by the RTO. Only then will the driving test given there be valid.

You will have to get a certificate

Giving a driving test in a private driving school does not mean that the applicant will go to a driving school and give the test there instead of going to the RTO office. And his work will be done. Let us tell you that when someone gives a driving test in a private driving school to get a driving license, a certificate will be issued to him by the institute. Which will prove that the applicant has successfully passed the driving test.

Should I make 8 or not?

When someone goes to the RTO office to give a driving test, one has to drive in a figure of 8, whether it is a car or a bike. After successfully taking the vehicle out of it, one passes the driving test. While taking the driving test in a private institute also, it will be ensured that the criteria are the same as the RTO driving test.
