DSSSB PGT Notification 2024 Soon: An important recruitment drive is being prepared with an aim to improve the quality of education in Delhi government schools and overcome the shortage of teachers especially for children with special needs. Under this recruitment conducted by Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB), applications will be invited for 200 Special Education Teacher (PGT) posts. Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena has approved this recruitment, which will ensure that disabled children get the opportunity of quality education.

According to reports, currently more than 9500 disabled children from class 9th to 12th are registered in CWD (Children with Disabilities) in Delhi. But, only 283 PGT teachers are available in this field of education, while 301 posts are sanctioned. This number indicates how important the need for resources is for the special education of children. The Lieutenant Governor has directed that these vacancies should be filled immediately, so that education can be improved.

Notification will come soon

This recruitment campaign will not only prove helpful in education for disabled children, but it will also help in filling the shortage of teachers in government schools of Delhi. New teachers will get a salary ranging from Rs 47,600 to Rs 1,51,100 under pay scale level 8. If media reports are to be believed, the notification for this recruitment will be issued by DSSSB very soon. The application process will be started after the release of the notification.
