Many users have expressed surprise after seeing such weather, while some people say that this is a sign that a strong storm is going to hit Dubai. It can be clearly seen in the video how the color of the sky changed from gray to blurry green. This is being said to be a sign of a rain storm. In a report by Fox News, the reason for the change in color has been said to be due to snow drops in the clouds. Citing National Weather Service officials, the report said that ‘the storm clouds contain ice particles that are turning the sky blue. The Meteorological Department said that when the red light scattered by the atmosphere falls on the blue water droplets in the clouds, they appear to glow green.

When does the sky turn green?
Supporting the Meteorological Department, a report from the University of Wisconsin states that ‘when blue objects are illuminated with red light, they appear green. The green color is important, but it is not proof that a tornado is coming.

Dubai air travel disrupted
According to the report, the green color is visible only when the cloud is very dark, which generally happens only in thunder clouds. In view of the weather conditions, Dubai International has advised passengers not to come to the airport and said that flight delays and diversions are continuing.
