Firozabad: Dumper collides with divider due to tire burst, catches fire

In Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, a dumper collided with a divider due to a tire burst on Tuesday morning. Due to this it caught fire. On information, police and fire brigade teams reached the spot. Due to the incident, the wheels of vehicles stopped for some time. The police started the traffic by moving the dumper to the side. After a lot of effort the fire could be controlled.
The accident happened on New Bypass in Ramgarh police station area. Here, the dumper going from Bhognipur to Morang and going to Sadabad in Hathras suddenly had a tire burst on the new bypass near Mamta Degree College in Ramgarh area. As soon as the tire burst, the dumper went out of control and collided with the divider.
Wheels of vehicles stopped due to fire incident
The dumper caught fire as soon as it hit the divider. The driver saved his life by jumping. On getting information about the matter, police station in-charge Pradeep Kumar and the fire brigade team reached the spot. The police moved the dumper to the side with the help of JCB and started the traffic. The wheels of the vehicle had stopped due to fire in the dumper. The dumper was being driven by Guddu, a resident of Salempur village of Sadabad.
Traffic remained disrupted for half an hour
The dumper burst into flames as soon as it hit the divider. The fire could be controlled after about one and a half hours. Police station in-charge Pradeep Kumar says that the dumper, which became unbalanced due to tire burst, had collided with the divider. Due to which the dumper caught fire. Traffic was disrupted for some time. The road was reopened after about half an hour.
