If the ticket explodes…?
If your ticket is torn after confirmation, then you will have to pay 25 percent of the fare to get a duplicate ticket made. It may be noted that in case of loss of a torn ticket containing the waiting list, a duplicate ticket cannot be made. If your lost original ticket is found, you can get a refund of the amount paid for the duplicate ticket by showing both the tickets at the railway counter before the departure of the train.
Can travel with platform ticket…?
If for some reason you have to travel in train without ticket, then platform ticket is very useful here. You can get tickets made by contacting the TTE present in the train. However, along with the fare, you will also have to pay some amount in the form of penalty. But TTE will make your ticket. If you have a platform ticket, then you will not be charged the fine charged for holding without ticket.
