Durga Puja 2024: As always, the Mukherjee family’s Durga pandal in Mumbai was buzzing with guests during the Dussehra festival. Like every year, Rani Mukherjee and Kajol were seen participating enthusiastically in Durga Puja this year too. Sherlyn Chopra also reached the pandal during the Sindoor Khela festival. During this, Sherlyn reached Rani Mukherjee and tried to touch the feet of the actress before applying vermillion. On this, Rani did something such that its video is going viral on social media.
Rani Mukherjee stopped Sherlyn from touching her feet
In the video going viral, Sherlyn Chopra is seen smilingly approaching Rani at the Durga pandal. During this time, when Sherlyn reached Rani, she bent down to touch her feet. Seeing this, Rani was surprised and while stepping back, she stopped Sherlyn and folded her hands. Rani also asked Sherlyn not to do this with a hand gesture. After this both of them applied vermillion on each other.
On the occasion of Sindoor Khela, Shirley was seen wearing a red and golden colored silk saree with flowers in her hair. Meanwhile, Rani Mukherjee was looking beautiful in cream and golden saree with red blouse.

The video of Sherlyn touching Rani Mukherjee’s feet is going viral on social media and people are also making fun of Sherlyn. One wrote, ‘Sherlyn needs work.’ Another wrote, “Oh, today he has developed values.” While another wrote, “The cat went to Haj after eating 100 rats.”
Rani and Kajol hosted Durga Puja
Let us tell you that this year, Rani and her cousin sister Kajol had hosted the Durga Puja pandal near SNDT Women’s University in Juhu. Many Bollywood stars including Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Jaya Bachchan, Ajay Devgan participated in this program. A cousin of Mukherjee, Ayan Mukherjee, was also spotted at the regular pandal.
