Four properties purchased in the name of mafia Vijay Mishraâs wife and close relatives were seized by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Saturday. These properties are agricultural and residential plots, which were acquired through M/s VSP Star Realty Pvt. Ltd. These seized properties worth Rs 12.54 crore are in Prayagraj, Rewa and Delhi. Apart from this, FD worth Rs 1.85 crore of Vijayâs relative Virendra Ram Murat Tiwari has also been seized.
Let us tell you, M/s VSP Star Realty Private Limited Company is run by Vijay Mishraâs former MLC wife Ramlali Mishra, Bholanath Shukla and Chandan Tiwari. ED had started investigation by registering a case against Vijay Mishra and his wife Ramlali under the Money Laundering Act on the basis of the FIR lodged by Vigilance.

Investigation revealed that Vijay and his wife misused their position while working as public servants and purchased a property worth Rs 11.07 crore in Jasola, Delhi by forming a company named M/s VSP Star Realty Private Limited. It was seized by ED on 28th February. Another property was purchased in Prayagraj with the money received from the rental of this property. Also, a property in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh was purchased in the name of Chandan Tiwari, the actual payment for which was made by Vijayâs son Vishnu Mishra from the proceeds of crime.
The investigation also revealed that at the behest of Vijay, Bhola was transferred to Nath Shukla, who used it in his business activities to make it look spotless. Also, it was transferred to Vijayâs relative Virendra Ram Murat Tiwari in the name of loan. ED has so far seized Vijayâs properties worth Rs 25.46 crore.
