Farewell prayers were offered yesterday on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramzan. Lakhs of people from the Muslim community reached various mosques in the afternoon. During this, he prayed for peace and tranquility in the country and promised to follow the instructions of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad. On the other hand, on the eve of Eid, there was a lot of shopping.

People of the Muslim community, who have been fasting for 29 days in the holy month of Ramzan, reached mosques on Friday afternoon to offer goodbye prayers. Where special arrangements were made in view of offering Namaz. A large number of people offered prayers at Jama Masjid and Fatehpuri Masjid. In both the mosques, the worshipers started arriving much before the time for offering prayers. Eid ul Fitr will be celebrated on Saturday.

On the other hand, on the eve of Eid, the people of the Muslim community reached the markets and did a lot of shopping. They bought new clothes to wear on the occasion of Eid and also bought food to eat. Due to this, many markets of Old Delhi remained crowded throughout the day.
