The ten-year-old daughter of a member of the militant group also died in the accident. Lebanon’s Health Minister Firas Abiad said that about 2,750 people have been injured in the pager blasts. According to the information received, more than 200 people are seriously injured and it is feared that the death toll may increase. Iran’s ambassador Mojtaba Amani has also been injured in this blast and has suffered injuries.

Security sources told Reuters that Hezbollah fighters and doctors were among those injured in the serial blasts in Lebanon. The explosion in the pagers used by Hezbollah fighters for communication has caused panic.
