In connection with the awareness rally on Wednesday, a press conference was organized at Vrindavan Hotel located at Dubey’s stop. In the press conference, President of Udaan Society Gyanendra Mishra told that this rally is to awaken the sense of respect among small children towards their elders. Such a rally has been organized. It is expected that this will also reduce the maliciousness towards the elderly. Skating coach Shrestha Gaur said that there are more than 11 crore elders in the country, out of which 71 per cent are abused by their near and dear ones. So we have chosen this issue to make people aware through skating rally.
He told that in future also the children of school and skating academy will work to make people aware on such social issues. About 40 children of the academy will participate in this rally along with Aditya Bhardwaj, a skating player who has participated in national and international competitions. Gaurav Singhal, District President of Sewa Bharti Mahanagar told on this occasion that the behavior of their children towards the elders in the society is becoming inappropriate. Worshiping elders after death and misbehaving with them while alive is a sign of declining life values.
