In the Nidhivan Colony of Bypass area in Quarsi area of Aligarh metropolis, on the midnight of 25th May, the elder sister killed her younger sister and blamed a neighbouring youth for the crime. The police solved the case within four hours and arrested the accused elder sister. In police interrogation, the reason behind the murder was stated to be the disrepute of the family due to the younger sister’s conduct and drug habit.
According to the incident, the auto driver’s family lives in Nidhivan Colony on Kaveri Vatika Road located on the bypass. Along with the auto driver, there is his wife, three daughters and a son in the house. These days the auto driver’s mother-in-law is also living here. The auto driver has two houses. One house is on Kaveri Vatika Road itself and the other is inside the street at a distance of about two hundred meters. The grandmother sleeps with the three daughters in the room on the first floor of the road side house, the auto driver, his wife and son sleep in the house in the street.
On May 26 at 4:30 in the morning, the police control room was informed by the family about the murder of the auto driver’s 16-year-old middle daughter. On receiving the information, the police was told that a young man living in the neighborhood came to the terrace from the junk warehouse next to the house and strangled the middle daughter to death while she was sleeping and then left. At four o’clock, when the younger daughter suddenly woke up and saw her middle sister dead, she raised an alarm. On hearing the news, the parents came and the police were called. The police sent the body for post-mortem. In the initial investigation, the police also started investigating keeping that young man in mind.
