As the time for Lok Sabha election results approaches, the heartbeats of the candidates have increased. The first phase of voting was held in Rampur on 19 April. Election results will come on June 4. Discussions are in full swing regarding the election results from city to village.
Till now four phases of elections have been completed. The fifth phase of voting will be held on May 20, the sixth phase on May 25 and the seventh phase on June 1. With the elections, the claims of political party leaders regarding victory and defeat have also intensified. On Rampur Lok Sabha seat, BJP has expressed confidence only on the current MP Ghanshyam Lodhi.
SP has placed its bets on Imam Maulana Mohibbullah Nadvi, while BSP has fielded Zeeshan Khan. According to political experts, like most of the seats in Western Uttar Pradesh, there is a direct contest between BJP and SP on Rampur Lok Sabha seat.
Along with SP, BJP leaders are claiming victory as per their own. BSP’s traditional Dalit vote seems to be returning. In Rampur Lok Sabha constituency, there is not only a discussion among the people from the city to the rural areas about the winning and losing of the candidates, but there is also a debate on the formation or failure of the government in the country.
All parties have their own claims of victory. Everyone is now waiting for June 4th. Parties have sought names to become agents in the election results, who will remain in the Mandi premises during the counting of votes.
