Slogans of no development, no vote are being raised at many places in Hathras district. Villagers are planning to boycott elections if the problems of their area are not resolved. The officials are explaining to them and assuring them of solving the problems. Taking serious note, the Election Commission has issued instructions to resolve these problems. Now the officials have started solving the problems of these villagers.

Bilkhaura Khurd link road is in dilapidated condition for 20 years

In village Bilkhaura Khurd, a council school was even locked after protesting for about 25 days demanding road construction. The villagers had warned of boycotting the voting due to non-construction of about two and a half kilometer stretch of road. Till now the approach road of village Bilkhaur Khurd has not been handed over to any department, due to which the construction work of this road has not been done. The villagers are adamant on the demand for road construction. Villagers say that the condition of this road has been dilapidated for about 20 years.

Many efforts have been made for road construction. This connection of just 2 kilometers has been dilapidated for years. Children are not able to even go out of the village to study.-Ramesh Chandra, Bilkhaura Khurd.
