The Election Commission has announced the dates for the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana. Voting for the 90 assembly seats of Jammu and Kashmir will be held in 3 phases on 18 September, 25 September and 1 October. Voting for all 90 seats of Haryana will be held in a single phase on 1 October. The results of both these states will come on 4 October. It is worth noting that assembly elections will be held in Jammu and Kashmir after 10 years, this is the first assembly election after the removal of Article 370.

Votes will be added till nomination: The Election Commission has said that after the publication of the final list, votes will be added till nomination. The final list will be published on 20th August in Jammu and Kashmir and on 27th August in Haryana.

Agents can accompany the elderly: The Election Commission has said that the party’s polling agents can accompany elderly people above 85 years of age. However, videography will be done during voting. Candidates with criminal background: The Election Commission has said that the complete horoscope of all the candidates will be available on the app. Its information will also be publicized and disseminated. Let us tell you that the first phase of voting will be held on September 18, the second phase on September 25 and the third phase on October 1. The election results will come on October 4. In the first phase, elections will be held on the seats of Pulwama, Sompian, Kulgam, Anantnag, Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar districts. In the second phase, voting will be held in Poonch, Rajouri, Budgam, Srinagar, Ganderbal and Reasi districts. In the third and final phase, voting will take place in Kathua district bordering Himachal and Punjab, as well as Udhampur, Samba and Jammu districts, besides Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipora seats in North Kashmir.
