Shoes for Indian Army: Indore’s Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) has designed special shoes for soldiers using new technology. Wearing these shoes not only generates electricity but can also track the location of military personnel in real time. IIT officials gave this information on Tuesday.

Officials said that IIT Indore has provided the first batch of 10 pairs of such shoes to the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). They said that these shoes have been developed under the guidance of Professor IA Palani of IIT Indore.
