Elon Musk AI Startup Grok Chatbot Open Source OpenAI Company Sam Altman Know Details

Elon Musk Grok Chatbot: Elon Musk said on Monday (March 11) that his AI startup will open-source its xAI ‘Grok’ chatbot this week. In simple words, its source will be made public and developers will be able to use it for their work. As soon as Musk made this announcement on social media platform X, soon after this a user also gave a reply regarding OpenAI.

Grok Chatbot is being said to be a rival of OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Actually, while posting on the social media platform ‘X’, Elon Musk wrote that from this week xAI will be completely open source i.e. non-profitable. After some time, a user posted that OpenAI should also do the same. In response to this user, Elon Musk took a dig at OpenAI and while replying said that this is false.

Ongoing dispute with OpenAI

It is known that Musk has made this announcement regarding xAI at a time when he is having a dispute with OpenAI. Elon Musk was associated with OpenAI when its foundation was laid. However, later he separated from it. Recently, Elon Musk had filed a case against OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. In this, Musk accused Sam of breaking the company’s contracts and running a separate business.

OpenAI refutes Musk’s allegations

OpenAI has denied these allegations of Musk. The company said in its response that Musk had proposed to merge OpenAI with Tesla. Only after this did not happen did he leave the company. Musk had also said a few days ago that OpenAI was established as an open source startup i.e. non-profitable. But now it has become a fully profitable startup.
